What a great year! I got a sunburn, but at least it wasn't raining! My everything is still aching from all the walking, but I figure it's not a good weekend at Anime North without a few battle wounds. I went as Kyoko Sakura from Puella Magi Madoka Magica this year and was lucky enough to have friends who accompanied me as Octavia and Charlotte!

I think everything went really well, even with all the costume malfunctions, which happened at the worst of times (my wig very nearly falling off because of how HEAVY it was and my friend's Octavia costume started coming apart in a few places just as people wanted pictures lol).

I got a ton of things this year and now I'm woefully broke. It was completely worth it though. I just need to be super nit picky with my money now, erg.

Wow, so this year was awesome! I got a ton of great pictures! I cosplayed as Suika from Touhou Project this time around. Thanks to everyone who liked my costume! :)

It rained for most of the weekend, but everyone carried on~! In the last few years that I've gone to Anime North it's always been bright and sunny, but this year had to be the year for bad weather unfortunately. D:

On Friday there was a Touhou photoshoot going on and by some miracle I was able to make it in time, especially since we got there pretty late and it was raining the whole walk to the Double Tree hotel where it was taking place. We didn't even have time to get our badges and just went straight to the shoot. When we got there and I started to take pictures, my camera started going haywire and then died on me. When that happened I ran to my friend and grabbed her camera to get some more pictures, but then IT DIED TOO. D: So I basically missed half the photoshoot because both of our camera's died at the same time. ): I was happy that I at least got a few pictures though and I think I more than made up for the next day, haha.

I went to a lot of photoshoots this year, both by mistake and on purpose. I went to the Persona photoshoot, the Valve one, Legend of Zelda, and of course Touhou. :) It probably explains the sheer quantity of pictures I got, lol.

Anyway, I had lots of fun and I'm hoping for sunny skies next year! :D

My first year as one of the living dead! It was really fun. I met a lot of awesome people and there were tons of Left 4 Dead cosplayers out and about.

I went as a Hunter and my friends :iconsmengler: and :iconpookiecrazy: went as Nick and Ellis.

Periodically throughout the walk we'd stop so I could attack either :iconsmengler: or :iconpookiecrazy: and lots of people would stop to take pictures. XD Also it was really fun just to screech like a Hunter and to have my friends go, "I hear a Hunter!"

Half way through the walk we went through a mall and inside we saw an EB Games, so we thought we'd run in and be mascots for a second. "Run everyone! The zombie hoard is here!" It was also pretty fun to see the dumbstruck looks on shoppers faces as we went through. Priceless.

Hopefully I can do it again next year!

Well another year of Anime North has come and passed, but once again it was awesome!! I went as both China from APH and Urahara Kisuke from Bleach this year. Thanks for all the shout outs and hugs!

I think for me this year was the year of panels. I haven't gone to so many panels before! Anime Hell and Totally lame anime after dark this year were especially good. I got such good seats for Anime Hell, it was amazing! I've never been so close before! I think that was probably mostly in part to the fact that they managed to get a big room. Usually the room is so full, people have to stand, so it was good that they were able to get a big room.

I didn't get quite as many pictures this year as I wanted to, but I was so busy running around with my group that we didn't get to stop for pictures as much. I was happy to see that there were so many Pokemon cosplayers this time around though!

My group members and I agreed that if anyone (who had no idea a convention was going on) came around asking what was going on, we would say that it was a cult and that we were sacrificing goats later that night and if they wanted to join us. It took awhile but we finally got some guy in a car stop by to ask what was going on. We replied accordingly and the look on his face was priceless! I felt kind of bad, so before he drove away I told him it was a convention. Still though, it was hilarious! :D

Anyway, it was another great year and I can't wait to see everyone again next year! :)

So I finally found a copy of Avalon Code, which took me at LEAST 2 years to get (because ordering things online is for losers! ...also cuz I don't have a PayPal and my parents refuse to buy it).

I have to say I don't think I've played my DS this much since The World Ends With You (which was a lot). It's really fun! Yes, flipping through the book of prophecy is time consuming and kind of annoying and the dungeons drag on, but these things I consider pretty minor to how much fun I'm having with it. :D

I'm REALLY enjoying the relationship side-quest thingy. Anwar and the spirits are adorable, although Rempo's voice is somewhat annoying, but it grows on you. Rex is an asshole and Duran...well, every time I look at his picture, he looks cross eyed to me (I'm basically too busy laughing to take him seriously). Anyway, I love it and I got it really cheap! (used games FTW!)

The thing about getting new games though is that I drop other games the moment I start playing the new ones. I'm sorry Persona 4 and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, I'll play you again...Eventually.
